The Lived Experience Advocacy Group consists of nine individuals who have lived experiences of hardship. The group meets regularly to discuss all areas of the project with its members drawing upon their experiences, understanding and knowledge to offer unique perspectives and advice.
The Lived Experience Advocacy Group ensures not only that the project is sensitive towards the needs of participating families but also that the wider population of families living in entrenched disadvantaged in WA are prioritized in every decision and action made within the project. Members of this group also sit on the Project Team and have the same decision making powers as the project partners.
