Julie Considine is an Accredited Statistician (Statistical Society of Australia: 2011 and 2016), with over 22 years industry experience in statistical and analytical roles. Julie’s papers/reports include Estimating unmet housing demand and priority areas for public and affordable housing at the Local Government Area level – a housing practitioner’s approach (Australasian Housing Research Conference (2015)); Housing Affordability report (2016); Distance as a proxy for Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) workers (2015); and, Anxiety disorders and cigarette smoking: Results from the Australian Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing (Lawrence, Considine, Mitrou & Zubrick, 2010).
Julie’s current role is the Manager – Data, Analytics and Modelling (Department of Communities). Her experience at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and background in research and analysis, adds to the wealth of methodology experience within the 100 Families’ research team.
